Popular furniture store, TimberCraft, has once again managed to
narrowly avoid closing its doors to the public.
In what appeared to be a last straws effort, TimberCraft managers
were able to develop, implement, and flawlessly execute a
"going out of business" sale. The results were so outstanding that
the company was able to return to solvency.
Store manager, John Harris, was very pleased with the results of the sale. "It's nice to know that in
our time of need, the public was willing to come and give their support. Because of the mass turnout, we are now able to keep offering quality furniture at low prices…everyday!"
Harris also had high praise for their advertising agency, Jordstin & Associates, for their ability to
run a successful "going out of business" advertising campaign on the measly budget of $1.2 million.
This is not the first time TimberCraft faced near financial ruin. Recent creative sales efforts have
included the "free furniture giveaway", the "no-interest 'till 2010" promotion, and the highly publicized "3-days only - below wholesale pricing" sale. |
